Letting out a breath, | finish my shift, checking in on a few more patients before | head to the lockers in the staff

room to grab my things before | leave.

Stepping out, | look up at the sky. It's been raining... I didn’t even realise...

He leadsto his bike, and | look at him, excitement and nervousness making my stomach flutter. I'll deal with

It's going to be a long night and I'm ready to turn up the heat....
